L’actuel pr\u00e9sident de l’Union de cyclisme international (UCI), David Lappartient sera le seul candidat \u00e0 sa succession, et sera reconduit sans vote pour un troisi\u00e8me mandat de quatre ans, a annonc\u00e9 vendredi l’instance.
\u00ab\u00a0Seul David Lappartient, actuel Pr\u00e9sident de l’UCI, a soumis une candidature pour la fonction. En vertu de l’article 40 alin\u00e9a 3 des Statuts de l’UCI, son \u00e9lection pour un troisi\u00e8me mandat de quatre ans sera confirm\u00e9e sans qu’il soit proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 un vote\u00a0\u00bb, a annonc\u00e9 l’instance dans un communiqu\u00e9.
Cette confirmation se fera \u00e0 l’occasion du prochain congr\u00e8s de l’UCI, le 25 septembre \u00e0 Kigali.
Ag\u00e9 de 52 ans, Lappartient a \u00e9t\u00e9 battu en mars pour la pr\u00e9sidence du Comit\u00e9 international olympique (CIO) par la Zimbabw\u00e9enne Kirsty Coventry.
