Le r\u00e9acteur n. 6 de la centrale, red\u00e9marr\u00e9 plus t\u00f4t cette ann\u00e9e, a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 alimenter en \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 la r\u00e9gion m\u00e9tropolitaine de Tokyo lundi \u00e0 22h locales, pour la premi\u00e8re fois depuis environ 14 ans lorsque le Japon a abandonn\u00e9 l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie nucl\u00e9aire suite \u00e0 la fusion des coeurs des r\u00e9acteurs survenue en mars 2011 \u00e0 la centrale de Fukushima Daiichi de TEPCO, frapp\u00e9e par un tsunami. TEPCO pr\u00e9voit d&rsquo;augmenter la puissance du r\u00e9acteur de 1,35 million kilowatts \u00e0 50% avant de l&rsquo;interrompre temporairement vendredi ou plus tard, afin de tester les \u00e9quipements de production d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. Si les progr\u00e8s se poursuivent comme pr\u00e9vu, le fournisseur d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 pr\u00e9voit d&rsquo;\u00e9lever sa puissance \u00e0 100% et de reprendre l&rsquo;exploitation commerciale le 18 mars. La centrale de Kashiwazaki-Kariwa, situ\u00e9e \u00e0 environ 220 km au nord-ouest de Tokyo, est la plus grande centrale nucl\u00e9aire au monde en termes de capacit\u00e9 potentielle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le red\u00e9marrage du r\u00e9acteur n. 6 de ce complexe de sept r\u00e9acteurs est le premier red\u00e9marrage d&rsquo;une unit\u00e9 exploit\u00e9e par TEPCO depuis la catastrophe nucl\u00e9aire de Fukushima.
