La Cour constitutionnelle de Bulgarie a approuv\u00e9, vendredi, la d\u00e9mission du pr\u00e9sident, Roumen Radev, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e mardi dernier, selon un communiqu\u00e9 publi\u00e9 sur le site officiel de la Cour.
Conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 la Constitution, la vice-pr\u00e9sidente en exercice, Iliana Iotova, assurera l’int\u00e9rim de la pr\u00e9sidence apr\u00e8s prestation de serment devant le Parlement, et ce, jusqu’\u00e0 la fin du mandat gouvernemental pr\u00e9vue en novembre prochain, date de la tenue de la prochaine \u00e9lection pr\u00e9sidentielle.
Le pr\u00e9sident bulgare avait annonc\u00e9, lundi dernier, sa d\u00e9mission dans une d\u00e9marche visant \u00e0 lui ouvrir la voie \u00e0 une participation aux \u00e9lections l\u00e9gislatives anticip\u00e9es \u00e0 venir. Dans une allocution t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9e, Roumen Radev avait indiqu\u00e9 qu’il soumettrait officiellement sa d\u00e9mission \u00e0 la Cour constitutionnelle mardi. Elu pr\u00e9sident du pays en 2016, Radev a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9\u00e9lu en 2021.
